Twister Laser Mouse (Verdict: Stunning)

It’s not often that a product amazes us after our first interaction. However, the Rocket Fish Twister Laser Mouse is not your typical product! You see, we’ve played with many (computer) mice over the years. And while many are comfortable, there’s always some little quirk that doesn’t make it perfect. Sometimes the laser is off, it’s too jittery, it doesn’t feel solid in the hand, the detection is off, and we could go on and on about what we’ve experienced. With all that said, the Twister Mouse is different.


When you first open the package you immediately notice that the mouse not only has a unique shape, but that it also is extremely intuitive. Stowed neatly within a hidden compartment is the USB dongle. When the dongle is removed the mouse is turned on. Now, all you have to do is plug in the dongle, twist it, yes TWIST IT, to turn the device from a convenient to carry device to one that is perfectly crafted, and you’re ready to go for hours of work.


Other great features beyond the genius micro-receiver and intuitive design are things such as true two-button controls, a multi-function side button, a battery lite indicator, and a 3-D flat scroll panel that provides smooth and silent scroll operation with a “laptop trackpad-like touch feeling.” To be honest, we’re amazed by this device and wish we knew about it sooner!
