Hamilton Grip Quilt (Verdict: A-mazing!)

When the calendar clicks from October to November and the clocks click back an hour, you know it’s time to start clicking and snapping different buttons on your jacket. No longer does your Fall ’09 attire fit the bill for those chilly mornings and brisk evenings. So, in case you have found yourself in a panic as to what to wear this November (and the rest of the winter), here’s a suggestion, the Barbour Hamilton Grip Quilt.
For starters, you all know that we are absolute Barbour
Ok, so enough about our love-affair, and more about this absolutely outstanding addition to Barbour’s ever-popular line of quilted jackets. As opposed to their other quilted jackets, Barbour went outside the box with this one. In fact, they made the box bigger… the boxes on the quilt that is. This jacket features a dramatically larger quilt than previous models, which gives the jacket a semi-puffy feel. It’s because of this extra fullness that the jacket feels (and is) so much warmer while still only having 100g of wadding. Furthermore, the collar is accented with corduroy which not only makes the collar stand up, but also keeps your neck nice and warm when you zip it up all the way. Lastly, this stunning black jacket features great yellow accents on the Barbour label on the sleeve and on the inner coat tag. This deviation from the traditional olive green jacket / khaki accents makes for not only a great fashion statement, but for some awesome variety for us Barbour junkies.
So, if you’re looking to heat things up this winter, and also keep yourself warm, then look no further than the moderately priced and extremely fashionable Barbour Hamilton Grip Quilt. We feel bad writing this review, because we know that once you see it, you won’t be able to control yourself, and will be compelled to buy it right away!
